"Mr. Buttons"Mr. Buttons the Cat
1993? to Dec. 1, 2009

Regarding Mr. Buttons the cat, who we had to euthanize yesterday because of renal failure... If there is a kitty heaven, I imagine him in a field of catnip and robot edible mice without pain and without his sick and crippled body. He did have a much longer life since he found our front porch and came to live with us in 2000. He was already badly crippled from some accident of which we will never know the details, but which surely cost him many of his nine lives. He was a sweet and loving boy we all will miss. Although all were fixed, he will be especially missed by our four remaining female rescue cats who were his harem. He seemed to be so friendly to other stray cats too, making friends with an occasional cat outside and bringing them to live with us.
